they reflexively hate anything about the Russians. For some it's a generational hatred that goes back to the days of the czars.

They are consumed by their hatred and can't possibly get over the fact that RT is like the BBC, VOA, NHK, al jazeera or any other national news service. They each have their own bias, it's up to the intelligent viewer/reader to weed that out.
