nor have we been told the extent of the hacking nor have we been told about the actual country of origin, which can be outside NK. Cancelling what was going to be a box office dud was a sop to Short Stuff. The real damage might be a lot worse.

The ruling class in NK, the inherited monarchy as well as the military and scientific infrastructure area all well supplied. It's the average people there who don't know where their next meal is coming from, especially if they're the ones who are growing the food.

No one is 100% sure who hacked NK back today and don't expect to learn any time soon.

But I picture the ruling class as being a bunch of rubes who don't really understand the world. Not just coming at it from a very different viewpoint but genuinely obtuse enough to think Obama orders movies to be made. I could be wrong.

which is why the attack seems to have been aimed at Sony.

At the center of power, I'd expect them to be quite sophisticated, many educated outside the country.

Their people, not so much.

The Internet is located in one or two spots in Pyongyang and only certain people are allowed to use it, Most North Koreans don't even have electricity so, no the average North Korean is lucky to have a potato for dinner, never mind a computer.
