abound. They tend not to go to Generwl Discussion threads like this where they are outnumbered and their logic or lack thereof, is full displayed.

But I know what you mean, some are totally taken in by the RW propaganda and the NRA they refuse to admit or deny they support.

Propaganda works.

I wish the press had the guts to show how stupid (and dangerous!) RWers like Joni Ernst are. How can anyone not see that she is saying it's okay for Americans to shoot government representatives if they disagree with a law they believe isn't constitutional.

at WACO as sinister attackers wearing their "Darth Vader" helmets? I'm not sure I look at what Vernon Howell and his goons did there as much different than someone murdering a cop. They were serving legal warrents for a good reason. Couldn't Howell and his goons have just complied as right-wingers tell us black people should do for police officers?

If the government (which, as so many DUers before me have helpfully pointed out, has employed Mrs. Ernst for many years even before she was elected) decides Joni Ernst needs to surrender her rights, aren't they going to send a platoon of paratroopers carrying rifles, machine guns and mortars to pick 'em up? Right now I'm picturing a somewhat-attractive, middle-aged female version of Eric Cartman standing in front of the statehouse in Des Moines with a pistol in one hand and a rifle in the other screaming "Respect Mah Authoritah!"

It's a talisman that affords a bubble of protection around its carrier. If you have two, you're twice as safe! Wear it on a chain around your neck to your next baby shower, or kid's piano recital! No harm will come to you and yours. Ala-ka-zam!

Don't let notions of well regulated militia to fight the British when they return to claim their colonies (which they did in 1812) deter you, even tho' they come 1st in the Amendment, from thinking it's all about getting rid of laws and duly elected officials you just don't like.

So Annie needs a gun. And little Andrew also.

The NRA, Ted Nugent and Wayne Lapierre are folks with hate and illogical thinking on an industrial scale, violence filled, Apoolypse obsessed snake oil salesmen and grifters no true progressive should be anywhere near but to mock.

This bsc crazy woman should be prohibited from serving in the senate, what she is saying is not just wrong its inflammatory and dangerous. This is beyond free speech, didn't we learn anything after the tragic shooting of Gabby Giffords? Dangerous nutjobs like Palin and Ernst actually incite violence, they have no place in national politics. I hope my fellow Iowans band together and remove this disgrace from office before another gun toting crazy goes on a killing spree.
