Conner Rensch of Omaha used to be twice the woman she is now — but her new self is featured this week in People magazine.

The 5-foot-10 hair stylist once weighed 271 pounds. Now she is a trim 141, and is pictured in the magazine’s annual Half Their Size Cover Girl issue.

Conner’s “incredible shrinking woman” feat has dazzled those who know her, and now is sure to do so for a larger audience. She is scheduled to appear today after 8 a.m. on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

With the support of her parents and with a positive attitude, she always has had good self-esteem. But she knows that people judge by appearance.

FULL story at link.

Conner Rensch, who has lost 130 pounds and will be on GMA and in People magazine. The "before" picture shows Conner at 17; the other girl in the photo is her sister, Quinn.

It's sad people are judged by their weight. She was quite pretty in the "before" picture.

I do hope she had her weight loss somewhat under the care of a physician. It's a lot of weight to lose.

She was very smart, realizing that diets don't do it. A change in one's attitude about the role that food plays in your life is necessary.
