I watched Bob Kerrey on CNN after the Torture report implying he doesn't trust it and he wrote an editorial lampooning the report

but it is giving cover to these criminals instead of dealing with fact that we torture, something we have been doing since the founding of this country by the way, it is nothing new

7. Nothing new. He has always been like that. Days before the 2004 election, he went on TV and

said Bush was doing a good job in the WOT.

He has always been hawkish like that, so it is not surprising to see him there.
