Why don't Dems ever sneak the stuff we want into bills at the last minute?

Why don't Dems ever hold the govt. hostage with a threat of "govt. shutdown" or spurious lawsuits or all the other "war tactics" the GOP uses to "negotiate" for what they want. Why does the GOP always call for the negotiation, and why do they always then get a compromise to the Right?

Why aren't the Dems busy writing legislation to rebuild the social and public infrastructure of this country and filling Congressional sessions with that instead of endless blathering about abortion and birth control and other time-wasters until all the do-nothing-Congresspeople can punch their clocks and run off to fund raising dinners with local big donors?

The current Dems seem in on the hustle.

The House structure is to the victor go the spoils. We need to re-take the House to get the spoils.

President didn't even bring the public option to the table because he was afraid of the Republicans. We didn't slip anything in.

And who do they represent? Banks of course. And how do they help those banks? Lobby other policy makers. And what do they do when they return to the private sector? Work for banks. And who do they represent?

Wash, rinse, repeat.

created for millennials of the future. It's called UKYP, they're age 11-18 hold elections and present their issues and views to lawmakers and service providers. I saw it once televised on CSpan. Why can't the US Congress have a People's Congress for youth, the urban and rural poor, veterans, women, blacks, LGBT, Native Americans, minorities- all the underrepresented- which is growing daily and so are the issues!
