this kind of lack of compassion has to be system wide.
I imagine that ticket can just as easily be a one way to the morgue

on my front end and was test driving it to walgreens for a dr pepper
never had to leave the back streets and its 2 blocks and a left through the neighborhood
so I take the left and there he is....

There is a busy street outside our development that has people pulled over every single time I leave it and I am not exaggerating much. It is a steady stream of income for the county. But it does feel unfair in some ways.

here a couple of decades back they began a system of paying agencies part of the ticket income
it has been my feeling then and since that doing so puts pressure on these agencies to use violations as an income stream and it has contributed greatly to the social disconnect between the police and the people

and it only cost $90 for that, but that was 15-16 years ago. It's the only ticket I've had in 20 years. Sorry about your luck. $114!?!?!?! That sucks!
