Retirement, email, life, DU,...

I was behind in my personal email back to the day after Thanksgiving. I had been just checking for priority stuff. I'm now up to Monday the 8th. That lead to all the GD posts today.

I spent two days of my first week of retirement in a doctors office last week. Oh joy. Christmas shopping this week, reading email, etc.

I have a stack of mail from DUers I have been putting off replying to. They came in during the short period I left the DU a few weeks ago. I wasn't ready for the deeply personal troubles other DUers have shared and more. I hope to start answering them after the first of the year. I'm just not ready to write back yet. I'm in my semi-Fortress of Solitude.
