don't have much else to do with their time. If they can they leave it on 24/7. I think there aren't very many places to go to get their world view supported like when they watch fox.
That gives fox a high rating.

I am not knocking it for those who need to have the tv on "for company" as many do, including a few of my quite elderly neighbors.
But I am very happy to see the power of the tube diminishing.
I suspect it will take awhile before those dependent on tv ad revenue to figure out what is happening.
Meanwhile, with no tv, no radio, and ad blockers on the puter, I am blissfully free of being force fed all that damn advertising.
