With a relentless look of malevolence Grumpy Cat is not exactly cute.
But the piercing stare and air of withering contempt has proved astonishingly lucrative for the cats owner, Tabatha Bundesen of Morristown, Arizona.
In just two years the cat whose real name is Tardar Source has made £64 million from an array of products, including bestselling books and a film.
Not surprisingly Ms Bundesen believes her pet is unstoppable.
She told the Express: 'What she's achieved in such a short time is unimaginable and absolutely mind-blowing.

I'm happy for Grumpy's owners. Cashing in without ripping people off is unusual.
Meanwhile, her fame will eventually fade as people go onto the next Shiny Thing and she'll live out a long kitty life on Fancy Feast and smoked salmon.

(56,177 posts)I figured it would have a couple months of fame, tops. Hope the owner donates a lot of that money to cat rescue groups.

(113,315 posts)Report That Grumpy Cat Earned $100 Million Is 'Completely Inaccurate'
A news report that the Internet sensation known as Grumpy Cat has earned $100 million is "completely inaccurate," the cat's owner, Tabatha Bundesen, told The Huffington Post.
The British tabloid The Daily Express reported on Sunday that Grumpy Cat had earned 64 million British pounds, or roughly $100 million, for Bundesen.
Bundesen declined to comment on her cat's specific earnings. She said she is considering how and when to give a full interview to set the record straight. She said her TV deal with Lifetime likely meant she would provide additional details to that channel.
Grumpy Cat's agent, Ben Lashes, who calls himself a "meme manager," did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Huffington Post.
The Daily Express did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Grumpy Cat, whose real name is Tardar Sauce, became an Internet meme for being a very grumpy looking cat. Her YouTube page now has more than 16 million views, and she has an endorsement deal with Friskies cat food. She also has "authored" two books, the first of which became a New York Times bestseller, and has a movie - "Grumpy Cats Worst Christmas Ever" - currently airing on Lifetime.
