It's happening again, this time in the Akai Gurley case.

Brooklyn District Attorney: “I pledge to conduct a full and fair investigation and to give the grand jury all of the information necessary to do its job. That information is still being gathered.” Once again, special treatment will be given to the police officer who shot and killed an innocent man. Instead of using the grand jury to generate a prosecution, it will be used as a means to avoiding a prosecution.

Gurley was unarmed, he wasn't resisting arrest, he wasn't overweight, he wasn't 'charging' the officers like a demon... So, how do they explain this one away?

Which is the core to the case. Why did the officer have his hand on the trigger, which requires a longer pull and more force (8lbs) to fire that first round. The finger should never be inside the trigger guard unless you intend to shoot. It's obvious to me that this is a case of negligent homicide. If you or I had done this, we'd be in jail right now.

Give the family 4 mil of tax payer money and move on to the next victim.

Just another day in our Police State.
