This STINKS, this guy thinks he can shoot a black person and blame it on a rifle that has "lots" of these kinds of misfires happening.

Let me suggest this:

He KNEW about the supposed defect and is using it to get off.

If the FBI investigates this right, they will show the trajectory of the bullet.

If it was fired from his shoulder height, he is a killer.

I am very skeptical that this was an accident.

9. I've been trying to tell some "Duer's" about NUMEROUS murders of this type that you NEVER hear about

and get covered up ALL.THE.TIME! This is NOTHING new and it's a damn shame. If the shooter had been black, he would have never spent another night outside of a cell, starting the 23rd of December. There are some here that adamantly refuse to see what some of us have been trying to show them, that TRayvon ISN'T unusual but all too common, unfortunately.

12. I have heard of problems with this model gun.

The Remington Model 700, one of the most popular bolt-action rifles, is the subject of dozens of lawsuits, alleging a defect causes the weapon to fire without a trigger pull.

BUT....... What are the odds that it would strike three people at one time?

FURTHERMORE- even if there was no "criminal intent" there should be at a minimum a manslaughter charge. You do not store a weapon like that loaded without the safety on and whenever you are handling a firearm it should ALWAYS be pointed in a safe direction.

I would need more information regarding the shooting. A question I would have is "Did the bullet penetrate a wall in the shooters home and strike the victims or was it through an open window? If it went through a wall it would be hard to call it murder and would seem to be an accident. It's hard to aim at somebody through a wall, isn't it?

If it were fired through an open window it is a highly questionable.
