"Stop and seize" Cops target assets and cash, not just your life

Yah think someone in the Justice Dept. would look into this? Cops robbing without any legal oversight ! They are not only allowed to kill you but if you are lucky you and get away with your life, you lose your house, car, or money? If you notice, most of the areas they grab from are largely populations of African Americans. These tactics are on the rise. "Makes me want to holla... throw up both my hands .." (Marvin Gay)

I agree totally with you. The war on drugs is just a war on Black and poor Americans. The police have benefited immensely with the funding and weapons that they have acquired over the years .... on the backs of African Americans. The whole system is corrupt.

5. I'm wondering where all the "cops are never wrong" folks have gone.

a few weeks ago, there were quit few of them, sniping and whining
about how "all cops aren't bad" and what a noble job it is to protect
and serve.

Haven't encountered even one of them in 3-4 days now. cool dat.

4. The entire cause of the militarization of police.

The military hardware to police programs started with the express purpose of being used to fight drugs. And in some senses, it is. Per an ACLU study recently, 80% of all SWAT raids are to serve search warrants, usually for drugs. Swift and violent entry is required to prevent the occupants of the house/apt from flushing the evidence down a drain.
