Ted Nugent agrees to plead guilty in illegal kill

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_TED_NUGENT_ILLEGAL_KILL?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-04-21-00-19-32

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Rocker and wildlife hunter Ted Nugent has agreed to plead guilty to transporting a black bear he illegally killed in southeast Alaska.

Nugent made the admission in signing a plea agreement with federal prosecutors that was filed Friday in U.S. District Court.

Calls seeking comment from Nugent, his Anchorage attorney, Wayne Anthony Ross, and assistant U.S. Attorney Jack Schmidt were not immediately returned.

The plea agreement says Nugent illegally shot and killed the bear in May 2009 on Sukkwan Island days after wounding a bear in a bow hunt, which counted toward a state seasonal limit of one bear.

One of the benefits of hunting is learning about yourself. You are in the woods/wild alone with no one looking over your shoulder. You can do whatever you want; no one will see you. If you follow the rules only you will know, but YOU will know.
If though, you break the rules, you will justify it by regarding all rules as inconsequential and especially not meant for you. Your ego is thus pacified.
bobby knight and dick cheney showed this, and now nugent.
If character means something to you, then these men can not.

Oh yes a real outdoors man. The noble sport of hunting......
That their bear isn't the only time Nugent showed us what a sportsman he is.

The rock star and gun rights advocate used C’mere Deer, a high-end deer attractant, to harvest two deer in California where baiting for deer is illegal

Hay, I got no problem with venison.
But, if you're going to blow away Bamby's mother, it ought be for food, and you ought play fair about it.

What's next Ted? Sticking you're head out the car window saying something like.....
"Hay little girl, want some candy"?
