I suspect the commuters are in full support of this action.

Now they've gone into city hall. Not all that disruptive, really.

I only went to the first exit on 35W because it was looking like a mass arrest was possible and I was not prepared to go to jail today. Fortunately that mass arrest did not happen.

I didn't hear about it until WCCO started covering it. Looks like it's wound down now, or at least isn't visible.

We had the action planned before the Garner verdict was announced. I actually spoke at the rally as a representative of my home health care workers union which is working in solidarity with the fast food workers who are trying to organize. Mayor Hodges also spoke.

Because of the news of the lack of indictment in the Garner case it was decided to start a march for the victims of police violence right after our fast food strike.

It was a pretty incredible day, I could only take it so far because while it was a peaceful demonstration there was real civil disobedience happening and I had not come to the event prepared to be arrested and could only take so many risks. I was very impressed with those who did continue however, they were a very peaceful and committed group of people.
