Don't worry, it was not an illegal "choke hold."

It was merely an "Enhanced vascular constriction."

Clearly something entirely different.

Shit's gonna get real, very soon. I think that's why the cities are all buying up tanks and military equipment. They know it, too.

Of course, I could be wrong.

as a former smoker I have had times in the past, many years ago now, where I had issues with breathing...

Completely healed now, but NOTHING is scarier, at that point that big man was scared to death for very good reason

If he had lived I would want him awarded no less than $25 million for having to go through those 5 seconds of horror beyond belief.

4. So now two white cops have gotten off (pun unintentionally intended) for killing black suspects.

Kind of seems to embolden the cops, doesn't it? Do whatever you want, the Grand Jury system is rigged in your favor. The local prosecutor is your friend.

Meanwhile, the police are saying body cams would be an affront to their privacy rights.

I'm living in a chapter of Alice in Wonderland.

Is there a legal way for the president to require every cop in america wear one and pay a CRIPPLING fine for turning it off?

Why not cops? I have a GoPro. Everyone has a GoPro. Our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan had GoPros. I don't care what the brand is, but if two-bit stoners can have helmet cams recording their every move, why is it so hard for the government to demand them on cops? Statistics overwhelmingly prove they reduce police abuse.

Oh, wait...I think I just answered my own question.

If I see a cop putting an innocent person's life in danger, I will use all necessary force to intervene, at best getting my ass royally kicked and facing felony charges. I just don't have the pacifism gene.

...now it all makes sense. If someone had just said that in the beginning, I would have never even paid attention to this one.

At some point, there will be a catalyst. We think we've seen it with Ferguson or what might be coming in Cleveland but it's hard to imagine that the combination of 1% pressure and DWB (dying while black) will start some day.

I really hope I'm wrong but it almost feels like institutional ketteling - instead of individual protesters being surrounded and pushed into a no win situation, it's an entire culture.
