I couldn't pick out a single Lady Gaga song. But I think the world of her progressive politics. Howard Stern was doing an interview with her. While talking about her song about rape (I forget the title) he pressed her on the issue. The tone of his voice surprised me. He was expressing concern while pushing for an answer. She went there without saying I was raped. I hope this will help her to heal finally after all these years.

(1,408 posts)My wife told me about this. I was never a big fan but this makes me think better of him.
My wife saw an interview and she says he's a big softie when it comes to cats.

(14,040 posts)a persona. It's a "character" that he puts on for the show. He's a good guy under all that schtick.

(62,534 posts)And while he does some crazy sensational stuff, he is probably one of the best interviewers I have listened to.
Once he moved to Sirus I couldn't bring myself to pay for radio.

(20,166 posts)I always thought he was smart and there's no denying he was certainly talented at what he did in those years, but I never cared for him.
I used to listen to him on DC101 in the early '80s but turned him off when he called Air Florida after one of their jetliners crashed in the Potomac River and asked about the price of a one-way ticket to the 14th Street Bridge, the site of the crash.
