Janay Rice tells 'Today' Ravens suggested she apologize at news conference

OK, this has got to be one of the major stomach churners in period full of them

It is one thing for the NFL to say "Hey, we had no idea this guy was a wife beater", even though evidence points to the NFL. and the commisioner himself, LYING about that.

But how could these bastards see the tape where Rice was beaten into a coma and then ask her to apologize?

NFL, you are despicable. Balitmore ravens, you should be boycotted and fined.

And no, I do not care one whit about whetehr or not she forgives him, loves him, or for that matter, if she would not change one thing, because when one SOB gets patted on the back for wicked behaviour, all SOBS do.

knocked unconscious and dragged out of an elevator by your leg is no fun at all.

Those who "suggested" she apologize, shame on them.

Candi Palmer, Janay's mother, insisted that this won't happen again to the couple.

"This is not the type of relationship she's in," Palmer said. "There is no next time. I didn't raise a young lady to be an abused woman."

Added Janay Rice: "I wouldn't allow anybody to disrespect me, especially a man who's in a relationship with me."

Well, you are wrong.

This IS the type of relationship she is in. I hope there is no next time, but she was "disrespected" and beaten and abused. I hope they both get the help they need because DV is awful.
