WASHINGTON Soon after arriving in the nations capital, Rep.-elect Brad Ashford found himself at a dinner for House members where he noticed something odd.
The GOP lawmakers who came through the door werent sitting down. Instead, they were cutting through the room on the way to their own dinner down the hall.
In Washington, Ashford noted, even meals break along party lines.
Its nuts, Ashford, a Democrat, told The World-Herald. They dont even have dinner together. Its just bizarre.
