And security at the Armadillo should have beat him a little harder when he was there once.

Sorry, the GWB line about draft dodgers doesn't fly any more. They were mostly people whose morality had outgrown the immature rule-based system people seem to criticize them for not growing INto, and history has pretty much shown them to be right.

Or in other words, the fact that Ted may have dodged the draft for selfish reasons doesn't negate the fact that most draft dodgers did it for moral reasons that outweigh military service.

who wave guns around on a damn near daily basis, puff their chest out with bravado for killing animals on a damn near daily basis, nor threaten to take armed action against the President.

I know pacifists who served. I had family who ran to the Navy before they got pulled into the Army. Avoiding the draft was nothing to be ashamed of, but pissing yourself for a month before the review boards then trying to act all macho some 40 years (or so) later is another act entirely.

I would say his draft dodging past does fly

Ever heard Ted talk about his dodging the draft? He claims he dodged the draft because he was too much of a killer. He claims that had he gone to Vietnam he would have killed every liberal he could find including his superior officers and any "liberal" soldiers he met so he had to avoid the draft so he didn't end up in prison..

There was nothing "good or moral" about what he did.

And this is coming from a person who thinks the whole thing with Ted this week was way overblown. Ted is a big mouth coward. Him talking shit about killing liberals is nothing new. But we all know he's a coward and it's just bullshit talk. Ted will never shoot at anything that might shoot back.

but it's not unlike saying it's okay to attack George Zimmerman for being Hispanic.

There are SO MANY good things to attack Nugent for. Why bother with that one?

Personally I'll settle for the fact that he didn't LIKE "Journey To The Center Of The Mind". I knew he was an asshole even then.

pedophile who should've served hard time, considering how many people - including law enforcement & state attorneys - were fully aware of it.

That would be quite an interesting expedition!

BTW, don't you just love these lyrics to "Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent?

here i come again now baby
like a dog in heat
tell it's me by the clamour now baby
i like to tear up the street

now I've been smoking for so long
you know i'm here to stay
got you in a stranglehold baby
you best get out of the way

road i cruise is a bitch now baby
you know you can't do me 'round
if a house gets in my way baby
you know I'll burn it down

you ran that night that you left me
you put me in my place
got you in a stranglehold now baby
then i crushed your face
