Just now as a "Breaking News" alert on Fox. That's it...the whole statement.

(30,885 posts)...someone on TV predicted this morning that the Secret Service "would probably ask him three routine questions and then spend an hour shooting the shit, because they love this guy." Don;t remember who said that...it was on one of the morning new shows.

Who says Rmoney doesn't care about poor people? There's not a poorer human being than Ted Nugent!

(1,362 posts)Seriously, Faux lies their asses off every second of every day and has for years, how can anything be believed that was broadcast there?
Amerigo Vespucci
(30,885 posts)A Secret Service spokesman told the Washington Post that after the interview, "the issue has been resolved," and the agency "does not anticipate any further action."
It has nothing to do with Fox. The statement came from the Secret Service.

(11,101 posts)Due diligence, i.e. going through the motions, followed by a short, vague statement that puts the matter to bed as far as the President is concerned. It clearly wasn't a credible threat, although it made him look like the asshole he is. If you do more than that we would spend months hearing about how the President is going after his political enemies and yadda yadda yadda. If they comment more about it, it makes Nugent look like a baddass or a martyr to his fellow loonies. If they did nothing it would look like they were afraid to "take on the Nuge". The right really gets no satisfaction here and Nugent pushes himself even further to the fringe among normal people.
