Using drugs:

If the Koch boys want us to put up with their brave new world quietly, they'd better legalize it.

It made me puke, numbed the pain and made me so sleepy I could barely move. I couldn't believe people were ruining their lives over that stuff.

Like most drugs in the 60s, once was enough.

I do love the cut, though, along with the rest of this album. It's worn well over the years.

rather than downers. Saw my fair share of various forms of speed and psychedelics back in the day, but the one time I did barbiturates, the closest thing to H, I didn't like it all. 'Luudes were after my time.

I guess I'm just not a sad enough person to want to numb everything. I want to enhance.

by Steppenwolf.

Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix

Are you Experienced - Jimi Hendrix

Champagne and Reefer - Muddy Waters

That Smell - Lynyrd Skynrd

Too many to mention. BTW, Cocaine was originally done by JJ Cale.

Wish I knew how to post them. They were all great songs.

http://www.reverbnation.com/thebandmotherofpearl The song "Nemesis." That's my daughter singing and son-in-law playing lead guitar. The first time I heard her sing it, I had to ask if there was something she wasn't telling me about her "habits." She assures me it's all her imagination. Lol

Western Music any longer. I love Asian music, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese. With the internet I can listen to radio stations that play it and avoid western music all together. I have my ipod if I want to take it with me. Give me JROCK.. any day of the week!
