If you are like every other kid who went to school, you were not fond of the teacher's pet nor the teacher who showed favoritism.

Gov. Rick Snyder is guilty of that on the political front and his "pet" is business. No shocker there.

This pro-business and ex-CEO's blind spot is certainly understandable. But it violates his mantra of shared sacrifice.
Turns out when it comes to business, those folks have had no pain ... just gain.

And here's the favoritism: The governor is fond of creating hurdles for other groups to traverse (he likes to call them best practices) as a prerequisite for getting state support.

But there are no such requirements for businesses to get state tax breaks.

Ask the schools. Ask higher education. Ask the local governments.

That guy's got a bad back, it's bent over backwards so much on behalf of "fairness."

Thanks for the heads-up, Bozita. Snyder may yet get his due.
