If the Dems start compromising with the Repukes now

Doesn't that show the American voters that the only way to get Congress to work is to have the GOP in control?
Since the the Repukes won't let any thing get done when they lose.

same thing with republicans. sadly, we end up losing if we're reasonable when in the minority and let them be unreasonable when we're in the majority.

well, in a level playing field, they'd pay a price for being sore losers and obstructionists and so on, but when they own the media, it's always our fault.

The fact that Repukes were rewarded at the polls for obstructing Obama's agenda suggests to me that the voters didn't want that agenda. If that is true, does it make sense to double down?

Obama's agenda. Since so many didn't vote it is hard to tell anything other than they didn't vote.
