In that the ACLU, SEIU, and AFL/CIO do not want to see it overturned. The opposition has some liberal and conservative elements, while the existing power structures of both parties (I guess unsurprisingly) are for its continuation. (Personally I'm torn on the issue -- I don't think the FEC should be able to keep a filmmaker from making a documentary just because an election is happening soon.)
