Russian OSCE Envoy Urges Washington, Ukraine to Disclose MH17 Crash Data

MOSCOW, November 17 (Sputnik) — The Russian envoy to the Organization for the Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Andrei Kelin, on Monday once again urged the United States to disclose the satellite imagery that was taken over eastern Ukraine at the time of the Malaysian Boeing crash.

Speaking with Russia's Rossiya 24 TV channel, the Russian envoy said Moscow continued to "insist" that Washington "share its satellite data because there's no way they could not have seen what happened there on that day".

Kelin said Russia "urgently needs" Kiev to disclose the records of negotiations between Ukrainian air traffic controllers.

Neither Kiev nor Washington has so far unveiled the evidence that allegedly implicates east Ukrainian militia in the Malaysian airliner crash, which killed all 298 people on board.

Oh that's right they got caught faking it and Putin left the G20 in a huff when it was called out.

Or was it when they mistook MH17 for Putin's plane they tried earlier?

My guess is they do not have a satellite photo that exact minute, and guess what on the flight recorders is all of the cockpit and radio conversations with the aircraft. The Russians should also have all of the radio communications and if they want it released so bad they are free to do that very thing.

has some small grain of the truth within which can lead to verification or not by called legitimate sources.

I couldn't even guess how many threads I start because of info prompted by RT, Xinhua, etc. that is found and verified by 'western' sources.

All info is valuable, imo. It is just a matter of how you interpret/use it, yet I'm amused at the 'hair on fire' responses I get when I do use a source such as RT/Xinhua.

One would think we are dealing with a bunch of mind-numbed dittoheads who can't separate fact from fiction nor have the abilities/desire to do so on this forum.

One can be guaranteed our intel agencies peruse these gov't daily's with a fine-toothed comb.

accusation. Russia is making it and they should be able to prove the accusation they are making. They have just as much if not more resources in the area as they have had military at the Ukrainian border for a year now. I am sure they record all aircaft to tower transmissions, have radar recordings, satellite imaging, and ground radio and telephone recordings in the east of Ukraine as I am sure they were listening and helping out the pro-Russian rebels. Hell, they probably have the BUK itself now.

Especially since they continue to stand by their most outrageous claim of some mythical Ukrainian Frogfoot downing the 777...

If there is an iota of truth in that claim, then it changes the entire discussion, and it should be very, very easy for Moscow to prove...But they aren't trying to make any case, are they? All Moscow has done since day one is manufacture disinformation, supply no proof for their claims, and when called out on it, they revert to parroting their "But the U.S. won't release their info! What are they hiding??" -talking point...

And that's before I even mention the Russians had a full 72+ hours of total access to the crash site before letting investigators anywhere near part of it...They even floated the idea of keeping the data recorders for themselves and shipping them to Moscow for decoding before the ICAO quietly reminded them of the consequences of that action...

So the dodges and excuses are over -- It's "put up or shut the fuck up" time for Putin before the grownups investigating the tragedy can move forward...

They have had it since the second the plane was hit. They refuse to release it to the investigators. Nice try to deflect. Yes, Russia, the U.S. and every other country that has satellite images should release them immediately. Waiting on the other guy is nothing but grade school.

The UK claims to have accurate sat images of the area during the time in question, too -- You should probably ask them, as well...

Or better yet, maybe you should just completely read up on the entire incident and get back to me

RT says they had no troops in the area, the exercises in that part of Russia are not happening and Russia does not have any satellites on at the time as they are on "vacation" taking pictures of Miami or some such area.
