(14,733 posts)As 'leaky' as this farce has been, it's entirely possible that they got 'leaks' in advance, without having to worry about the legality of such.

(3,891 posts)So with the National Guard called out, and the FBI warning of violence, I'm betting that the PTB know the outcome, and it's not good for those interested in justice.

(18,115 posts)the grand jury returns a true bill or no bill, no one knows.
The DA may sense the direction, based on the types of questions. There may be other leaks or indications, but the grand jury is on its own schedule and its outcome is not known until the final vote.

(34,136 posts)If Wilson is not indicted, people who are fed up with the police violence will have demonstrations and the police, especially in Ferguson, have proven how willing they are to commit violence against peaceful protestors. Remember how many offenses were committed by police against the Occupy protestors, even when they were doing NOTHING to warrant police action.
If Wilson is indicted, white supremacy groups will use it as an excuse to commit violence against minorities. Actually, the white supremacy groups will use either result to commit violence, with or without the assistance of the police.
After watching the original protests in Ferguson and how hard the community leaders tried to keep the protests non-violent, then seeing the over reactions of the police, I am very worried for the people in our minority communities.
I'm glad I don't live in any town and am far enough from any urban area to stay free of violence.
