SF. Today was Haight Ashbury and tomorrow will be at Castro and Market at noon.
She is announcing a day ahead via her twitter feed and on facebook where she will be the following day.

(25,704 posts)Early in her career, her show was based around how poorly her parents spoke and how ignorent her parents were of American culture.
My parents spoke with a ridiculous accent and I missed out on a lot of things as a child (little league etc) because they did not know about this culture.
My parents were great. I would never shit on them in public.
So fuck her..

(2,331 posts)Which is what preceded her TV show. The majority of comics mock their parents, spouses, in laws, siblings etc., since comedy frequently comes from what we know and experience. And what do we know more intimately than family? And the audience can relate, cause they've got family too, and hardly a family exists without some eccentricity. So you may not choose to regale us with humorous anecdotes about your family, but don't be misled into thinking Margaret Cho was doing something outlandish.
