I was handed a Disabled American Veterans 2014-2015 pocket calendar today - something is missing

This is in no way meant as a reflection on the DAV.

Lots of details but something is missing.

January 27-28 Signing of Vietnam Peace Accord - US Vietnam Cease Fire (1973)
February 23 Flag raised at Iwo Jima (1945)
February 27 Battle of Java Sea (1942)
April 6 Persian Gulf War begins (1991)
June 22 GI Bill Signed (1944)
June 25 Start of Korean War (1950)
December 16 Battle of the Bulge begins (1944)
Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Christmas, even Grenada all noted

No mention of March 19 (or 20) 2003 or December 15 (2011) -- gee what happened on those days? Might have something to do with creating a whole lot more Disabled Vets.

Again this isn't about the DAV. I take it as let's just pretend that horrible fiasco didn't happen.
