http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/11/17/republican-secret-twitter-accounts/The three outside groups that have been implicated include Karl Roves American Crossroads, American Action Network, and the National Republican Congressional Committee. While the secret twitter accounts and underhanded communication were just discovered, according to CNN the groups have been communicating in this way for at least four years.
Screenshots of the accounts, which were deleted as soon as the media began asking questions, were taken by CNN staff. Some of those screenshots can be viewed here.
Under the Supreme Courts Citizen United ruling, outside groups can spend unlimited amounts of cash to influence US elections, but the groups cannot directly coordinate with political campaigns, which appears to be exactly what these groups were doing.
The right wing has worked hard to destroy campaign finance laws. The effort, especially when combined with the destruction of laws that once banned lying in political advertisements, has paid off for them in a big way. Over $4 billion dollars was spent to influence the outcome of the 2014 midterm election. The secret twitter accounts prove that even when the laws are so lenient that theyre almost non-existent, republicans have no intention of following them. And these people who have absolutely no respect for the law, are the people who are being elected by the right wing to become US lawmakers.

well, as soon as Rove, et. al. can get their case fast-tracked to their doorstep.
