In June 1788, the ninth state ratified the Constitution, which gave Congress the power To establish Post Offices and post Roads in Article I, Section 8.
And yet you all want to do away with the United States Postal Service, right? (suggest you rent the movie "The Postman"
What about science?

To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;
Should we do away with scientific research? Do we all agree on basics like evolution, gravity, climate change?
Shouldn't our government be investing heavily in all areas of science, especially that one area where the PENTAGON says is our greatest national threat?

The U.S. Department of Defense released a new report this week that says climate change poses an "immediate risk to national security." The so-called road map is designed to help the military navigate and prepare for increasing global temperatures, changing rain patterns and rising sea levels.
