Poll: Condi Tops GOP VP List

Would Condi and Mitt make a good team? Republicans and conservative independents seem to think so, according to a new CNN poll released Wednesday in which former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice earned the most votes for preferred vice president (26 percent). Rick Santorum was second choice with 21 percent of the vote, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie tied for third with 14 percent. Thirty-six percent of voters who didn’t consider themselves Tea Partiers voted for Rice, who has repeatedly said she’s not interested in the job.

never will forget when she told the public who knew they'd use planes on 9/11. Then she was in the hearing about the august PDB report and was asked about the PDB report "bin laden to strike US." yes, who knew?

Or, during katrina, condi was out buying some fabulous shoes for herself while the people drowned. We do have our priorities doncha know.

republican policies, including the ones romney is advocating that brought on the mess we are in

It started with reagan, and ended with bush. All the deregulation, even though many dems were willing participants, it still represented the foundation of republican policy

The president and vice president would be crazy not to tie the very unpopular George Bush around Mitt if he chooses someone that close to the last administration. I mean they are already saying his policies are like the last president, now he would have a great visual reminder. From the war to the economy to north Korean missiles there is so much failure with Condi... so little success.

Where the Romney Supporters can't hide behind the internet . . .

Don Lightfoot, MBA, CEBS, CLU • Condi checks a number of boxes...She is super smart, one of the most respected women in America, checks the minority box, incredible CV with nothing bad in the closet, knows foreign affairs well, especially the big bear that is rising fast and is not our friend...Russia. And she respects and would work well with Romney

Hey - those folks at Mitt Romney 2012 group might not be the brightest bulbs in the box but at least they are open and honest.

I noticed they didn't publish my comment yesterday that Rice would hurt them with Christian Conservatives but might help with GLBT SUPPORTERS on the left. They also deleted the argument that ensued.

See - it doesn't matter to us/ME if she is living openly with another woman - but it will hurt them. And if someone didn't know it - well . . . I want them clamoring for a social conservative like Newt Gingrinch with a really really dirty past.

...that the know-it-all woman is also a (fill in racist term of choice). Apparently, they haven't learned from the Palin fiasco. Not only do they think women are stupid, they think black people are stupid, too.

She Who Went Shoe Shopping While New Orleans Drowned has way too much baggage to be the VP choice, and I'm surprised that so many of them don't recognize that. Although, I suspect they don't consider it to be "baggage".

A National Security Admin who completely failed to protect America in September of 2001 and a serial firer vulture capitalist who would scorch and burn the middle/working/poor and transfer more, more, MORE wealth to his cronies.

A match made in the 9th Circle.

If America chooses this disaster and thinks these two vulture worse-than-Bewsh assholes would be better than Obama, it deserves everything it gets from it. Unfortunately, the rest of us will go down in flames with it.

It's never about policy with them. It's never about running the country properly. It's all a game.
