The Truth about Fukushima Daiichi will get harder and harder to find.

The same propaganda techniques employed after 9/11 will be employed again:

People will be given two absurd choices:

The Official Story: (Nobody died, all is well, excess deaths are because of something, anything else).

The Alex Jones Story: (The end of the world is near).

The point will be to obscure the truth which is that a much larger evacuation should have been done, many thousands will probably die over a period of time because of this, and a much larger cleanup effort is in order.

or clearly incredible (and easily refuted) "conspiracy theories", eliminating the truth which usually contains shades-of-grey elements such as badly misconceived and hideously mismanaged bureaucratic agendas protected by layers of unnecessary secrecy, institutional disinformation, and huge budgets.

Such are the Nuclear Power Complex and the Global War on Terrorism.

2. Truth is...

...this Fukushima is an all new event. Predicted but never before experienced. Think of it like this: We were all pretty much nuclear virgins before 3-11, and now we've been screwed. Some of us are quite pregnant with radiational babies.

Looking to the future we can go back to the predictions before 3-11 and see that we've not felt the last of these screwings. There are another 400+ Fukushima type powerhouses around the world.

What else can we do besides bend over?

I would have been laughed out of the room as the worst kind of awfulizing nut case.

But when Reactor 3 exploded, that's exactly what happened. Initially denied, but now generally acknowledged.

We are indeed in a new world.

People just couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that 'THEY" would build such a life destroying mechanism as nuke plants.

Even after Chernobyl they didn't want to believe it. We who spoke the truth were considered to be nutcases.

But the real nutcases are those who sucked on the nuclear dick.

Allow the media to ask some questions and get some real answers. That would be the best.

They have made a conscious decision not to do that for some reason.

Hope that doesn't come back to bite us all in the ass.

That the truth is so awful that if it be told, Tokyo would panic?

Not to mention that it may be so awful America would also panic?

Here's a great thread about all this:

7. I seriously doubt Tokyo would panic

The time for panic was last March and April (2011). That's when atmospheric radiation here in the Tokyo Metro Area was at its worst, and we had no idea how many explosions would eventually occur at the reactor area. Although it's still not a desirable situation, things have settled down considerably since then. There are all sorts of organizations and individuals monitoring radiation levels now. At Iwaki, which is just outside of the southern boundary of the 30km recommended evacuation zone, levels range from 0.1 to 0.7 microsieverts (with higher levels being found in mountainous areas).

http://www.iwakisokuteishitu.com/result.html

For comparison, the normal level in the Tsukuba-Tsuchiura area, 100 miles south of the Dai-ichi reactors, is about 0.1 (according to the High-Energy Physics Lab), while in Tokyo Metropolitan Prefecture, 140 or so miles to the south of Dai-ichi, recent measurements range from 0.0371 to 0.122 microsieverts.

My impression is that people here in the Tokyo area are more worried about a big earthquake and/or 3/11-type tsunami.

But it is not over and done yet.

And as the title of the thread shows, the truth has been hidden from the public. If they hid it then they are still hiding it now.

I have heard reports that they scrub everything real good then take the measurements. Data can easily be controlled, or for that matter released. I do hope that the residents of Japan are hearing more of the truth, but history shows they probably are not.

Good Luck.

9. There are all sorts of people taking measurements
Fri Apr 20, 2012, 01:14 AM
Apr 2012

It's not just TEPCO, and it's not just the Japanese government. Even my company has measuring stations in various places in Fukushima. They don't "scrub" anything, and really, how could they "scrub" atmospheric radiation?

And some municipalities, like the city of Moriya in Ibaraki Prefecture, have actually removed dirt from parks, playgrounds and school grounds because the radiation levels were considered too high.

So really, it's not as dire or corrupt over here as some people try to make it to be.

Lets talk about that removal of soil. It was contaminated and they removed it. That means the atmospheric deposition ended up dumping its load everywhere. Who else is measuring that bed of radiation?

What have the locals been told about the spent fuel pools? Are they aware that an earthquake could set off another great explosion? Is that common knowledge on the streets there?

Just after the explosions in March of last year, there were some scattered rainfall events in the Moriya/Kashiwa/Matsudo area of Japan, which at the time were downwind from the reactors. This area is essentially on a direct line between Tokyo and the reactors. According to my contacts with the local scientific community, these events created "hot spots" in that area, with radiation levels that were 2, 3, even 4 times higher than surrounding areas. Interestingly, soil radiation levels in the Tsukuba/Tsuchiura area, where I live, about 15 miles closer to the reactors on the same line, were much lower. I had the soil in my yard tested by my company last September, and they told me that the level was less than 0.20 microsieverts.

As for another earthquake setting off another explosion in the reactors, there have been all sorts of aftershocks in the reactor area since the explosions, including this M7.4 that occurred on April 7, 2011

http://typhoon.yahoo.co.jp/weather/jp/earthquake/20110407233200.html

Here is a Magnitude 6.3 earthquake that occurred 5 days later, on April 12, 2011. It was quite an intensive event, with Japanese intensity readings reaching up to 6- (meaning there would likely be major damage-- shown by the pink dots in the map). The pink dot just to the right of the X is just south of where the reactors are located.

Here is a list of earthquakes that have occurred in the reactor area since the Big One last year. The small region including the reactors is designated as 福島県浜通り

"Dude" was telling us the truth when those in authority were lying. Months after the Corporate Media stopped coverage, it was finally acknowledged that what he was saying was true all along.

And I can't wait to hear your opinion of DemocracyNow and Amy Goodman. Second thought, yes I can.

I hope you don't think Rachel Maddow and Amy Goodman are part of "the CT set".

Amy Goodman had him on last month for the Fukushima anniversary.

Arnie has been one of the best sources of information throughout this disaster.

It's unfortunate you were so unduly influemced by your friends.
