If Mitt Romney cannot bring himself around to criticizing Ted Nugent....

...then he should have nothing to say when someone, a Democrat, any Democrat, questions his Mormon connections and the role of the Mormon church in his politics.

What's fair for the goose is fair for the gander. And some Democrat, not connected in any way to the White House, will question his religion at some time in the next few months.

He will have no standing to criticize anyone else if he cannot criticize Ted Nugent...

always has been and always will be. Questioning a political candidate's religion is unfair. We did not like it when Obama's affiliation with Wright and the role it might play in his politics was questioned over and over. No reason to quesiton the Mormon faith or Romney's faith at all. There will be questions but let us as Dems be above all that. Leave the religious questions to the likes of Tony Perkins and the rest of his ilk.

Democrats believe in a separation of church and state. It it is the GOP that has been pushing theocrats for a generation with few exceptions.

If any Democrat brought up Mitt's religion, they would simply be falling for the GOP's game. They would be playing in their court without a chance.

And the conservative owned media would have a field day rehashing all the stories about Reverend Wright, the alleged Indonesian madrassa stories, etc.

How do you know that??

Are you watching Martin Bashir right now? He just ran a clip of a pastor calling Mormonism a "cult".

7. Not watching. Martin Bashir is a pundit, not an elected official. I like him, though.

The responsibility of a media figure is to get high ratings for the owners of their network. The responsibility of a politician is to work for equality, at least a Democrat does while a Republican is for dismantling all of that.

By Democrat, I don't mean any person who supports democratic ideas as Bashir most likely does. Bashir is not a member of Congress, nor running for office, or even working on a campaign, as far as I know

Are you saying he is an official spokesman for the Democratic Party, and espousing the platform?

If not, he is not to whom I was referrring, and he was not in the OP. I have enjoyed clips from him, but I think we are talking about two different things.

The Romney campaign is now attacking Obama for being fed dog meat as a child in Indonesia, suggesting that it's worse than putting a dog on the roof of a car. Supposedly, Obama mentions it in his book. They fail to dwell on the fact that Romney was an adult who chose to put his dog on the car whereas Obama was a little kid who ate what they gave him.

There is no sense of fairness in these jerks.

limp-wristed response to Rush's attack on Sandra Fluke, he proves again what a coward he is. What would happen in the WH with his first confrontation? Will they find him in the fetal position, sucking his thumb?
