Another shooting in Sanford, offered for contrast.
Sanford police make arrest in apartment shooting
Sanford police charged a 30-year-old man with attempted murder Monday night in connection with a shooting that left an armed man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Corey Michael Rose, 30, was taken into custody after he told investigators he shot the victim, Brandon Long, multiple times, according to a Sanford police report.
Long was listed in critical but stable condition Monday night at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Sanford police spokesman Sgt. Dave Morgenstern said Tuesday that he has no updated information on the victim's condition.
