(3,496 posts)Get over it....we lost this election. We'll win the senate and POTUS in 2016 and probably pick up seats in the House too. Don't be so down over tonight's results. This was largely expected.

(10,650 posts)I read a bunch of rosy-sunglass posts about how the polls were wrong, Nate Silver was wrong, and how the Democrats were going to do very well.
Yours is just a continuation of that same rosy-sunglass tradition. We probably will not regain the Senate in 2016 and we have a very good chance of losing the White House. Big changes in the Democratic party are needed to avoid that.

(10,650 posts)It wouldn't surprise me at all. The Democratic message just isn't resonating with enough voters for a lot of reasons. Too many voters either ignore the extremism of the republicans or support it.
These are frightening times.
