There are things about it I really, really love. And other things about it I really, really hate.

(3,252 posts)They reintroduced voter suppression in 2000, when they purged the voting rolls from tens of thousands of minority sounding names. It was an easy guess.

(2,781 posts)Great state. Great cities. Great people. Awful politics and an utterly clueless state-level Democratic Party. In any other "purple" state, a Republican governor like Kasich would've been on the ropes. But the Dems here fielded an inept challenger who got creamed and makes Kasich now look like a Presidential contender. Ugh.

Politics is infinitely better up there, though. And gotta love the O's and Ravens.
