California Republicans Getting Desperate/Panicked - Suddenly Seeking LGBT Support

I just got a 'California Pride Voter Guide' with all the trappings of a 'Gay & Lesbian' voter guide -- rainbow graphics, mentions of LGBT rights, etc.... only thing is most of the significant recommended votes were for Republicans !! Hmmmm, how has that Republican thing been going for the LGBT community???

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone gets sucked into the rainbow-flag waving media that is being sent out. If you look at the FINE PRINT, it says 'appearance is paid and authorized by each candidate and ballot measure that is designated by an * (asterisk)'

And low and behold, them * (asterisks) appear next to REPUBLICAN Neel Kashkari, REPUBLICAN Pete Peterson, REPUBLICAN Bradley S. Torgan, REPUBLICAN David Hadley -- etc etc. FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL. !!! Reminds me of the Republican down south who was making the effort to appear as if he was an African American and sending mailers out that gave that indication.

Just putting it out there as many folks may not read the FINE PRINT or have their super-fine-print-reading glasses with them when they get the ad in the mail.

the publisher who's name appears next to the fine print is shown as Scott Olin Schmidt (located information on him in a prior election that shows him as 'Member, Republican Party County Central Committee; County of Los Angeles' and 'Alternate Delegate to 2000 Republican National Convention')

ahhhh, how that internet-search thingy always seems to gum up the works on the poor Republicans !
