As if Ann Romney didn't have a staff of housekeepers and nannies helping her be a stay-at-home mom.
Maybe it wasn't entirely right for Rosen to invoke Ann Romney, but she was making an economic point in response to Mitt who was saying he received his advice about women's issues from Ann. She then made the point that Ann had not worked a day in her life, but meant "hasn't worked OUTSIDE THE HOME." It is obvious she meant that, and was simply making the point that Ann isn't the best source of advice about women's issues because she hasn't had to balance raising kids with having to work because she is so privileged. Ann doesn't have the experience of that kind of economic stress. THAT was the POINT. It was NOT about dissing stay at home moms or those who choose to stay at home to raise kids. Just the opposite. Rosen thinks it would be nice for more women to have that choice, but they don't because UNLIKE ANN ROMNEY, they MUST work to make ends meet.
And give us a break. We all know that Ann Romney had plenty of hired help when it came to running her HOMES and raising her kids.
