A translation (from Norwegian) of an account of Breivik's testimony today

I stand here as representative of the Norwegian and European anticommunist and anti-Islamic resistance movement, said Breivik when he would begin to lay the framework for his defense, as he explained it.

Behring Breivik condemns Norwegian journalists for having run a smear campaign against the Progress Party (Norway's far-right populist party) and other "conservative values". ... He said that people with his vision are depicted as racist, intolerant, cruel and inhumane, and that this happens in many countries.

He believes that those who oppose multiculturalism will understand that a democratic struggle is not working, and eventually resorting to arms, so Breivik did. In his reading of "document" Tuesday morning handed Breivik towards multiculturalism in Norway, which he believes pervades both media, schools and political institutions. Breivik pointed out that many on the extreme right share his vision, and that there is no one who speaks their cause.

He says he is by "executing" 77 people wanted to change the Labour Party's immigration policy to prevent a future civil war.

- I am 100 percent convinced that if we can stop the multi-cultural experiment, we can save hundreds of thousands or millions of lives. But if we wait 20 or 30 years of confrontation is too late, then the ethnic Norwegians to be in the minority.

- The designs are based on goodness, not evil. If someone doing evil, it is the multicultural. The only thing that should surprise is that such a thing has not come earlier, says Breivik.

- I would do it again, continuing Breivik.

There is lots more. This guy really likes to talk and, of course, looks at his trial as an opportunity to "spread the word".

He knows that Norwegian society considers it wrong; he just thinks that his wish for an all-white Norway means he should have the right to terrorise people (eg by killing their children) until they do what he wants.

He is a classic terrorist.
