Why is joe scarborough yelling that people are dumb if they don't agree with him?
I really hope his show fails in the ratings.
I am so tired of the fear mongering that is coming out of the corporate bobble heads on tv.

(2,345 posts)I get the same feeling I get from watching Fox News now whenever I am unfortunate enough to be up when this show is on.
They've turned tom roberts into a simpering jester and joe into a screaming idiot...

Joe has become unhinged. Was it once tolerable? I seem to remember him not being so ... I dunno... ridiculously unhinged and arrogant? He was always annoying, but the last couple times I've caught the show... wow. This guy has really lost touch with reality... I hope.
There's really nothing to watch in the morning...
Everything is so biased.

(50,983 posts)It is so contrived. The way they have Mika look on Joe adoringly is simply disgusting. It's as if they want Joe's words to carry great weight so they use Mika to hammer it home.
Is Mika her name? I'm not sure.

This lament is made nearly daily and has been made nearly daily for many years
The pain of watching must somehow influence a feedback in the reward center of the brain.

(63,912 posts)Good thing my husband was upstairs in the shower and couldn't hear me cuz he would complain about my watching that show! He says that I watch MJ, then go online to DU and then "you're pissed off for the rest of the day!"
Dr. Fauci was interviewed a bit later and he was truly helpful.
My question for Joe is "Where is the scientific data for your opinion?"
Even Mika said he was fear mongering and then he tried to drown her out by "blah blah blah blah" over and over again. He was out of line and out of control in that segment. He'd better apologize.

Total Viewers: ABC: 5.446 million/ NBC: 4.701 million / CBS: 3.031 million
TeamPooka
(24,256 posts)that is an accurate comparison.
I'll bet CNN and Fox are kicking his ass.

TODAY, etc. You can grab the news, watch the fluffy interviews, or flip to another network and grab some more news.
It's really bad when Al Roker interviewing exhausted fans on a rope line is better TV than anything on the cable channels, but that's what it is!

(10,044 posts)the people and all their comments.
I love straight news with some commentary, but this program thinks its "them" that is interesting, but it isn't...it the subject, and they are all wrapped up in themselves and trying to think of something witty to say.
It can't work for Mika because we all associate the program with Joe and Mika. I'm tired of both. No, wait, I never liked it or watched it enough to get tired of it.

(45,251 posts)a lot sneakier and even more disingenuous than the FOX fools. And therefore much more dangerous, IMO, especially because, not only is he not on FOX, but he is on MSNBC, perceived to be a Democratic media outlet.
MSNBC is shameless, as its long-standing and infamous reluctance to show the door to racist and xenophobe Pat Buchanan.
When I was a very silly kid somewhere well under 10 years of age, the height of comedy for us was saying to people eating raw seafood, "You think it's a clam, but it's not." It reads okay, but it sounds something like, "You think it's a clam, but it's snot." That's how I feel about MSNBC being a Democratic outlet, after it's years of Don Imus, Joe Scarborough, Dennis "Half Step Up From Victoria Jackson" Miiller, Tucker Carlson, et al. Murdoch really wants FOX to elect conservative Republicans. I don't think MSNBC really wants to elect Democrats, let alone liberal Democrats. Still, it's the closest thing we have.
