Just got off the phone-ABC News poll

Lots of questions about the president: how he's handling the economy, Ebola outbreak, is the country "on the wrong track".

A few questions about if I'm registered to vote, if I follow current events, if I'm voting in the election, if I'm voting for the incumbent (oh hell no-our incumbent for Congress is Vicky Hartzler. I'd vote for roadkill first). Wanted to know if I'm voting in the midterm against the president's part to "send a message". Also asked how I felt about the following possible candidates: Jeb Bush, Rick Perry, Chris Christie, Rand Paul and Hillary Clinton. Also wanted to know if there was lots of mudslinging going on in our congressional race.

I thought ya'll be interested in what a pollster is asking.

1. No More Polls For Me

I've had about 10 different polling calls.

CLICK bye, bye...

Screw them all - especially the ones related to the network Sunday AM shows with "journalists" like Laura Ingraham and other bozos on the right.

Anything I can do to make a poll inaccurate is a good thing, as far as I'm concerned.

The pollster could save everyone's time by simply asking "are you buying into our narrative?"

in Illinois. The incumbent Democrat, Quinn, inherited a lot of shit and is trying to correct things. He has always advocated for working people. Rauner, his opponent, is a billionaire conservative, dishonest, loudmouthed, etc. He is trying to buy the election. He just may succeed. The race is tied with only a short time to go. I have been working for Quinn. This is scary.

love my way

Changing it would require a Constitutional amendment. Just what is your point, exactly?

If they won't tell me who is *paying* for the poll, then fuck 'em. Above board polls will tell you who is paying for it, and then you can decide whether to participate or not.

What I WANT to say is the country has veered off on the wrong track - because of the teabaggers and the republi-CONS and their thoughtless idiot "policies" that are ruining this country. HOWEVER, I know that's a trap because it's ALWAYS going to be interpreted as a strike against President Obama. They NEVER ask follow-up questions after that one. I wish they would. Because seems to me it'd be valuable info to know WHY someone thinks the country's on the wrong track or the right one. And I'm damned if I'm gonna give them a point to credit to the GOP!!!!!!
