Think in terms of a member of the chess club trying to use threatening gang language. It doesn't sound plausible, and I'd say there's a high chance that when Romney delivers lines like this, he's just as likely to have his message and delivery become the story as he is to accomplish his goal of sounding like he's got the election locked.
