That's why we like snippets. So this wasn't about just March being "the coolest on record," it was about March in the United States being the warmest on record in contrast to the rest of the world. I would have found that info interesting and worth clicking on if you had provided a brief synopsis. That's just the way we roll here, baby!

As for following blind links...me neither. So bullocks on this, unless you care to take the time to give us an idea what you're talking about.

14. No, even that is wrong - it was the 16th *warmest*, worldwide

The OP title was actually a lie. The article says:

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said the world as a whole had its coolest March since 1999. It was only the 16th warmest March since record keeping began in 1880. Still, the month was 0.8 degrees Fahrenheit (0.5 Celsius) warmer than the 20th century average.

So, out of 133 Marches, it was the 16th warmest. Even with the end of La Nina.

6. Header; America’s warm March was different from the rest of world, where it was coolest since 1999

Snip from article;

NOAA’s Deke Arndt (AREnt) said though it was cooler than recent years, last month globally was warmer than the vast majority of Marches in the 20th century.

Arndt said the fading weather phenomenon La Nina has had a cooling effect globally.

Welcome to DU.. Slamdrive, maybe read the article before posting.. Enjoy your stay.

I love their current poll about how panicked DU is about the 12 people that post at the cave. They're upset that no one on DU mentions them anymore, and attribute it to that we're afraid to talk about them and their all-powerful awesomeness, instead of the fact that most of us -- me included -- consider them such a joke that they're not worth mentioning. 12 people. And Frank is 90% of the posts, the rest just post "YES, WE LOVE YOU FRANK!"

Of course, I'm fucking it all up by mentioning them here, which is exactly what Def Frank wanted. But wtf. There are only 12 of them. What is even more hysterical is that they have an APP for the cave. A fucking APP for the cave? Who approved that? Did someone at Apple decide they could make $2.50 with all the cave app sales? Seriously? Of course, if they just had decent coders instead of using a $9.99/month blog account, they might actually get some traffic. As it is, Frank and Rebel and Ralph account for 99.9% of the site traffic...a couple of lurkers make up the difference.
