Greatest danger to the world: by country. Pew

A very interesting chart. I decided to make a poll using the same questions as Pew to see DU's opinion.

I find it interesting that Asia was the region most apt to select the environment/pollution option.

Corporatists build nuclear programs, prop up religious zealots, foment hatred, impoverish millions, cause wholly unnecessary economic roadblocks to sane medical care, and trash the planet for greed.

I put inequality because it was the closest option, but it's a very frustrating poll. Interesting to see the results by country, though...

It is futile to do with more things that which can be done with fewer.

I think you've used Occam's Razor very adeptly.

would include climate change, but overpopulation is also a serious problem. However this might be solved in a very cruel way by nature itself.

The earth will recover and continue on, no matter how much we pollute her or blow her up.

I think the greatest threat to our survival is our inability to cooperate and take care of each other. If we don't start doing it soon, we will be gone within 500 years. Mass suicide.
