But do wonder how you feel about the travel restrictions that are already imposed upon the area.

PS, wonder if you didn't mention the progressive Alan Grayson for comparison.

3. So are you saying our health care facilities and the CDC are as bad or worse than Botswana?

You think we can't handle this any better than these nations?

Seriously?

It's been two weeks since the guy first displayed symptoms, and not one of the four people he was living with have symptoms.

Our culture of washing our hands alone makes us more prepared than every nation on that map.

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen, common sense dictates that containment is a big portion of dealing with the spread.

Why people are so against it, is beyond me.

Warning - Level 3, Avoid Nonessential Travel

Updated: October 07, 2014

CDC urges all US residents to avoid nonessential travel to Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone because of unprecedented outbreaks of Ebola in those countries. CDC recommends that travelers to these countries protect themselves by avoiding contact with the blood and body fluids of people who are sick with Ebola.

If you have symptoms of Ebola or have been exposed to Ebola -- even if you are not sick – you will not be allowed to travel on commercial planes, buses, trains, or ships.

If you have been exposed to Ebola but are not sick, you will either have to arrange a charter flight home or stay in West Africa for at least 21 days until authorities ensure it is safe for you to travel.

11. So, you admit, the CDC did not think it was a good idea for the US to close its borders.

WTF are you going off on so many tangents for?

The CDC in fact has not recommended the US close its borders, primarily because IT CANNOT BE DONE!

12. What am I admitting? It's can't be done?

What can't be done? The US cannot restrict travel of those originating from ebola hot spots? Yes, they can, they don't want to at this time.

So, I presume you are in favor of west African countries affected with an outbreak to close their own borders? And that somehow makes you smarter or a better person?

Ok. Not making much sense. but whatever floats your boat.
