Brooklyn Boot Company-Made in the USA

We’re making a boot that’d typically retail around $300 and offering it to you for $175. Why are we doing this? Because we’ve noticed a real problem with the current domestic-made market – things made here simply cost more than a lot of Americans are willing to spend. To combat this, we’ve developed a price model that eliminates the middleman.

This means we will be selling to absolutely NO RETAILERS. Our direct-to-consumer model will cut out the middleman markup, allowing us to pass the savings your way.

I would have thought that they might have actually been in Brooklyn but it's a pure marketing play which despite their mission statement left me disappointed.

That's what I'm used to wearing, the Navy work boots used to be like these although they were steel toes!

The Chinese boots that I've bought cost over a hundred dollars and fall apart in a year, so if I can get boots made in America for a few dollars more that will last ten years I'm ahead of the game.

The only thing is they may not have my size?

Also I don't like those metal hooks in the last few laces in those other shoes that someone posted about even though they are made in America too.

All in all I'm glad we are getting some choices besides that Chinese junk that you like so much because it is cheap.
