Clueless Republicans attempt minority out reach with anti-Landrieu commercial.

Republicans seem to have an idea that minorities, women, etc. are just as stupid as their base and will respond to the same BS. I heard a commercial on some RWNJ AM talk show that begins with some urban sounding male voice telling the listener that Landrieu hasn't done anything for you. She's rich, lives in a big house, and drinks champagne while you dig through your sofa for gas money. This is the gist of the entire ad. Focusing exclusively on the class warfare angle. You are a petty and jealous person who resents anyone living the high life. Not the very real issues of income inequality mind you, just she's (Landrieu) rich and you're not and you should be mad and not vote for her.

I was expecting any moment to hear, "She's kept you on the Democratic plantation long enough!". The ad was insulting to anyone with two brain cells to rub together. The host then took calls from his teabilly listeners and they all sincerely thought it was great. The commercial didn't have one thing positive about her opponent or even mention him. Just sowing resentment against Landrieu for not wallowing in poverty.

It amazes me that Republicans actually think that Blacks will respond to these types of insulting stereotypes and vote for them. It is just as bad if not worse than that God awful Obama/Boyfriend commercial. They believe that projecting racist/sexist stereotypes on minorities and women will somehow endear us to them when actually it is just an exercise in reinforcing their own prejudices.

Okay, apparently this is a TV commercial as well. So glad the Republicans are looking out for my best interests and assume that I drink kool aide and use food stamps because I live in, you know, "the community".

we have Uncle Tom political ads, and no idea who is paying for it all.

The website leads nowhere but to donation buttons, the Prince of Saudi Arabis could donate millions and no one would know until they released donor lists months from now.

The ads suck so bad and are so transparently condescending it should anger black voters even more...anger is a good GOTV tool also.
