Anti-Gay Group: SCOTUS' Refusal To Hear Same-Sex Marriage Cases 'Absurd' :The anti-gay National Organization for Marriage on Monday railed against the Supreme Court's decision not to hear any of the seven same-sex marriage cases before it as "absurd," "mind-boggling," "wrong" and "illegitimate."
"We are surprised and extremely disappointed that the US Supreme Court has refused to grant review of the same-sex marriage cases pending before them," Brian S. Brown, the group's president, said in a statement. "This is wrong on so many levels."
Brown rejected the notion that marriage could be redefined from the bench to encompass same-sex spouses and was incredulous that the nation's highest court would have nothing to say about such an expanded definition.
"The effect of the lower court rulings is to say that a constitutional right to same-sex marriage' has existed in every state in the union since 1868 when the 14th Amendment was ratified, but somehow nobody noticed until quite recently," he wrote. "That's the absurd belief we are being told to accept."

While he seems to have dropped off the radar when it comes to being a big name in the anti-LGBT group, I enjoy imagining Brian Camenker being extremely pissed right now.

glad they are disappointed. They should always be disappointed with respect to their efforts to harm people.

Alito and Thomas? The main ones they thought would take the case.

don't realize that the last thing they should want is for the heavy-handed federal government to meddle with people's marriages.
