The screaming was so loud and continuous that I only heard a word or two here and there. So I saw the Beatles, but I can't honestly say I heard them.

with enough power for everyone to hear them. Along with The Who around 1969 they produced live recordings that are still worth listening to. I don't think a really great live Beatles recording exists.

Good backing band. He pointed right at me at the beginning of the concert!
At $45 per ticket, it was a steal!
Have fun!

From their Toronto concert in 1966. My buddy and I were yelling for the girls to stop screaming so we could hear the music, but it was like trying to hold back a tsunami. They played with The Remains, Bobby Hebb, The Cyrkle and The Ronettes.

Paul's show is all Beatles, all pyrotechnics and monitor. And Ringo plays a few Beatles songs, but it's more about the musicians who he picks to accompany him on each tour. Still good shows though!

He played at AT&T Park in San Francisco a little while back. It's an open air stadium, and they turn up the amps, so hearing the show was just as good as sitting inside. Also, I got there early and heard the sound check which included songs that weren't in the show as well as some jamming. If he plays at a stadium near you, plan a tailgate party. A ticket to the parking lot is cheaper than seats inside.

I've never seen any of them perform live. George was my favorite Beatle. And John - can't think of him without being heartbroken. There's a documentary about his childhood called "Nowhere Boy". See it if you can. His life was a mess from the start. Yet he grew up with a soul and a conscience that was remarkable.

It is down to under $9. Well worth it at that price. I won't buy from Amazon because of the boycott. But it is also in bargain bins at brick and mortar stores too.

It was the most fun time I ever had growing up. My girlfriend and I did the whole sneaking into the hotel routine with the help of her parents who made reservations at a restaurant in the place. We almost made it. If that cop hadn't been on the top floor by the stairwell door . . . oh, well. Wish I could go see Ringo again. Have a great time!

I worked with someone who saw them at Busch Stadium. I was really in awe of her when she told me that.

So posting in this thread, of someone who has seen Paul and Ringo in the flesh is the next best thing!
Have fun!
